G&C Finance, the fastest growing 100% development finance company in the UK, has announced two strategic appointments to boost its professional consultancy team.
Phil Errington has been recruited as construction manager for the UK. He joins G&C from DTZ in Birmingham, following a seven-year career as a building surveyor in the project and building consultancy team.
Reporting to Marcus Higgins, construction director for G&C, Phil strengthens the expertise and capacity of the construction team with his knowledge of building design, contract administration and awareness of the development and bank monitoring processes.
His key role is to focus on the initial evaluation of all sites – regardless of whether they have planning permission or not, to co-ordinate the completion of all construction documents prior to the release of development funding and to deliver practical advice to G&C clients on all elements of the construction process.
Mark Jones joins G&C in the role of national sales and marketing manager and is responsible for developing strategic marketing programmes to strengthen the sale of homes within G&C- backed schemes.
Formerly new homes manager for Bidwells New Homes in Northampton, he brings a wealth of experience in land deal evaluations alongside his sales and marketing expertise.
